The teen fashion workshops at Angie’s Models was born out of a need to provide quality training to the individual at reasonable rates. At our agency, students can acquire valuable skills that help increase self-confidence, poise, and a strong sense of personal presentation.
While students are training, they have the opportunity to audition for shows, print, video productions, theatre and commercials/ film.
Angie’s Kids is Angie’s Models children’s agency and proudly represents children of diverse ethnic backgrounds, from 4 to 18 years of age, for the fashion and television industries.
It is a young, energetic and fun agency, where the children receive a lot of attention and where parents can receive professional guidance with respect to their children’s careers.
Toronto & Montreal has a tremendous market for actors, Toronto as it is known as Hollywood North! Commercial rates are set by a union called ACTRA, who ensures that actors are paid residuals based on the amount of people who would see you on air. An actor can get anything from $500 for a day shoot to $10,000 after residuals, and can be easily 5 times this amount for a commercial that airs in the USA.
The male modeling industry is an area that has grown tremendously in the last few years. Men now can stand on their own! In the past men were used as props! The number of men’s magazines is on the rise, and the fashion stores are continuing to expand. Although it can be a lucrative career, it has not reached the levels that the women’s division has achieved.
A screen audition on-camera workshops for kids, teens & young adults. These workshops offers fun, but challenging, practical and inspirational screen audition preparation. Commercials, Film and Television Scenes will be taped with supportive coaching and critique. All actors will walk away with their work/auditions ON TAPE!
At Angie’s we love children. Our main goal is to instill confidence and self-esteem in each of our students. If your child is shy and needs more confidence or already is exhibiting an outgoing personality, our instructor will strive to develop a positive environment where your child will continue to grow. 14 Week On Camera Workshops that meet once a week either on Saturday’s or Wednesday evenings.
