Andrew just shot A&F at Martha's Vineyards! Amazing face and personality! One amazing male model and a face that wil go far!
Hometown: Very hard to say since i'm a dip kid. I feel very much at home in Ottawa after 2 years here though.
Birth sign: The Dog
Background: Another complicated question, part of my family is Scottish if you go back enough generations.
Modeling Since: Age: 17
How discovered: At Angie's Open Casting Call!
You just booked A&F tell us how was it to shoot with Bruce Weber?
An amazing experience! Bruce is easy to work with and makes his models feel very much at ease during the shoots. His creativity makes the shoot pass in no time and you're left wanting more.
Who or what has influenced you? My parents are my biggest influence, if they didn’t back my decision, then I would never have walked into that open casting!
What sets you apart from other people in your profession? Whether it sets me apart for the better or worse, I’m new to the industry. I’ve peaked through through the doors into what excitement modeling can offer and i’m excited for new opportunities.
Where do you find inspiration? I’m inspired by my travels. There are so many exciting things out there, I can only jump at the opportunities i’m given and hope to experience more.
Awkward Modeling Moment: At Ottawa fashion week after having make-up done off site, five of us were sent back to the site- only to get lost. Sporting our make-up of snow-white faces and bright blue lipstick we drove around downtown asking for directions.
Most Embarrassing Runway Mishap: Not having too much runway experience nothing comes to mind. I’m hoping this question never becomes easy to answer.
Most Bizarre Modeling Experience: After missing my connection to Martha’s vineyard I stayed in a Hotel on Times square. Being by myself, unexpectedly, in one of the most famous sites in the Americas was quite the experience.
Favorite modeling experience so far? Definitely shooting with the photography icon Bruce Weber.
Favorite things: My Macbook and new Iphone! :)
Favorite music, band: Foster the People at the moment, but in all likelihood it’ll change next week.
Favorite designers/models: I love Zara and Uniqlo. And I admire the modeling of Tuen Simonas Pham, a new friend I made in Martha’s Vineyard, and of course Herieth Paul!
Favorite foods: Steak, Curry, Thai Food, and definitely Sushi!
Hobbies: Wall climbing, investing, running, reading, watching great movies, the list continues....
How would you describe your style? Relaxed preppy perhaps
Movie you want to see next: The rest of the movies on IMDb’s 100 top movies ever made list
Most Embarrassing song on your iPod: I’m not exactly sure what to be embarrassed of... but i’m sure my friends could find a few!
Dreams and Goals: To have a career that I love doing, where I travel a lot and have the ability to help those who need it.
Best advice you have ever been given? Two things: 1) Get your priorities straight and 2) Do what you love and then you won’t work another day in your life.
